This is Layla. After six years being the bat dog for the Clearwater Threshers, she's officially retiring. At Friday night's game, the 13-year-old moseyed out to home plate to pick up her final bat. 14/10 happy retirement, Layla
@M902378232925 @AlexGeo82372439@pavyg True. Otherwise we would be talking about the Wimbledon a few years ago where Federer looked better than Novak but somehow Novak does what he does and won it
@zveljka@sangeetapremi Mind games
It would be shameful but there is a purpose behind it
Seen it before in Women’s tennis with use of medical timeouts and injury timeouts
@zveljka@sangeetapremi I’m agreeing with you that he doesn’t retire and you never know what can happen by sticking it out
He just seems to fake some injuries as well but I am agreeing with your statement because he used to be a complainer and quitter when he was young especially with the heat
@zveljka@sangeetapremi Yeah against Taylor Fritz, in that one grand slam where he had the tricep injury and ended up winning it all after getting through the match barely
Still seems suspicious if it was even a real injury though
@icesolate85 @AnjaLovesTennis@TennisTV Oh trust me I think it is a big excuse and super lame but he clearly played quite terribly in the match afterwards so something seemed off lol
