Last week we had a very wet but fascinating day the Cheltenham Science Festival. We had so much fun exploring all the exhibits and also got to learn all about the gases that our body produces - which was hilarious. #Science #cheltenhamscience

We have been attempting many tricky maths challenges this week. Challenging ourselves to use all our number skills to reach a target. It was great fun! #maths #nrich

Another fun-filled day in Wales. The weather was, once again, beautiful and we enjoyed many fun activities. A wonderful afternoon hike was followed by a gorgeous BBQ on the lawn - we even had Magnums. Yum! Sad to be leaving tomorrow but looking forward to getting home!

Today was AMAZING! We had raft building, blind trail, climbing and even a zip-wire! During the evening, we went on a lovely walk. William even managed to see one of only 4 trains that passes through the village. We finished it off with a slumber party ina the corridor.

What an action packed second day we have had! We spent the morning abseiling and attempting the low ropes. Then, following a delicious lunch, a gorgeous afternoon paddling around the lake was in store! Such great fun and even met Meg the dog!

First day of Y6 residential 2019. A lovely picnic at Crickhowell Castle and then a short ride to Abernant Lake. Some incredible views! So far we have done some orienteering and attempted the obstacle course! A great day ahead tomorrow! @ManorAdventure #abernantlake

We used teamwork and collaboration skills to get from one point to another. The challenges got increasingly more difficult and we had to really work together to achieve our goal!

As Google were capturing satellite images for ‘Google Maps’ over Stroud today, we wanted to make sure we were not seen by the drones overhead. We did a great job staying out of sight! 🤪�� #AprilFools #AprilFoolsDay @googlemaps

We have been using modroc to create figures. The process was quite tricky and extremely messy but we had a great time creating them. We built on our knowledge of colour-mixing to create the colours and used white to soften the colour. #beautiful #art

At Cadbury’s world we had so much fun, it was very exciting. We learnt how to prepare chocolate, the journey of a cocoa bean and how Cadbury’s began. We got to taste some chocolate of our choice, yummy! @CadburyWorld #chocolate #tastytrip!

This week in Cassiopeia class we went on the field and created games for the younger pupils in the school to play with. In addition, we didn’t use any man made objects as a challenge set by Mr FB.

Last week, children from Cassiopeia class took part in the 2019 K’nex challenge and it was lots of fun! Out of 30 children, there were only 2 winners: Finlay and Felix. These two lucky children will be taking part in the final. #KNEXchallenge @renishawplc #youngengineers
