Mother & daughter hide at home for 2 months—ICE detain mom when food ran out forcing her to the store.

Now the daughter says it's all her fault—because mom only left to feed her.

Agents then try to trick the 11-year-old girl to visit detention center—to deport her too.

Reporter: "At only 11 years old, she is alone in the United States."

Yoselyn: "I feel like I miss her a lot because she was the only one who understood me and she was... she was everything to me."

Reporter: "She is the daughter of Marisol Vega, the Ecuadorian woman detained this Monday by immigration agents."

Yoselyn: "I can't do anything because I'm still little."

Reporter: "This little girl told me about the terror she felt when her mom called her to tell her that she had hidden inside a container because she was cornered by ICE."

Yoselyn: "Every time I see that immigration has taken her, I feel like it was all my fault for sending her."

Reporter: "The girl says she feels guilty because her mom left home to buy her food. For two months they remained locked up, surviving with the help of the school and the community. But when the food ran out, her mother had no choice but to leave."

Yoselyn: "My mom doesn't eat so she can feed me."

Reporter: "Faced with an imminent situation, she says her mother tried to prepare her for the worst, leaving her documents and a friend's phone number in case she was arrested."

Yoselyn: "I never thought this day would come."

Reporter: "From Ecuador, her aunt spoke to us. She said the family is in the midst of anguish. Marisol's eldest daughter recently underwent surgery, and following the arrest, Marisol's mother had to be hospitalized due to the shock."

Aunt: "It is a despair that I would not wish on any person, any human being who goes through those things."

Reporter: "While Marisol remains in ICE custody, Yoselyn is being cared for by an activist who claims that immigration's objective was to have the mother and daughter in custody."

Aunt: "They wanted us to take the girl to the federal prison so they could have her with Marisol to prosecute them together. So, we told him no."

Reporter: "We contacted the Department of Homeland Security, but so far we have not received a response."
