Senator Rayencourt’s monologue to Vernestra about his perception of the Jedi Order and their lack of transparency is so haunting knowing what will eventually happen by the time of the Prequel Trilogy.

Absolutely brilliant writing. Forever wish that this series had the opportunity to continue expanding upon these concepts.

This brief exchange between Thrawn and Morgan Elsbeth from Tales of the Empire is genuinely one of the most well-written moments in Star Wars animation IMO.

Not only does it add more development for Morgan’s character and showcase Thrawn’s awareness that The Empire is not an invulnerable construct, but this moment also plants the seeds for how what remains of The Empire will operate after the events of Return of the Jedi.

It almost feels like something you’d hear during an Imperial meeting in an episode of Andor. The writing on display here is just as incredible as it is daunting.

Mucormicosis, revisión de... mañana jaja, en New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM, 2026). Algunos puntos:

🔴 La cetoacidosis es un catalizador; la acidosis y la hiperglucemia aumenta receptor GRP78, al cual se une la proteína fúngica, facilitando la angioinvasión, trombosis y necrosis tisular
🔴 En pacientes de alto riesgo, signos como celulitis periorbitaria, diplopía o necrosis palatina, valora con imagen (TC/RM) - considera que pueden ser normales en fases tempranas
🔴 El diagnóstico definitivo requiere la identificación histopatológica de hifas anchas (7–15 µm), en forma de cinta, no septadas (cenocíticas) y con ramificación en ángulo recto (90°), lo que las diferencia claramente de las hifas septadas y con ángulo agudo de Aspergillus .

🔴 El éxito terapéutico depende estrictamente de la combinación simultánea de Anfotericina B Liposomal (5–10 mg/kg/día), resección quirúrgica agresiva del tejido necrótico y corrección urgente de la acidosis o inmunosupresión.
