Building a society where everyone has a good place to live, good people around them and fulfils their purpose. Heart of a charity, mindset of a social business.
Two years on, victims still lack promised support. We've joined Victim Support, NSPCC, SafeLives, Children Society, @ActionforChildren, and @CSACentre urging the Victims' Minister @catkinson80 to commence Sections 6-15 now. Read more: https://t.co/4z8CZEeBAU
Alan Milburn's report shows young people face a failing system. We strongly encourage government to take a people‑centred, place‑based approach. As set out in our evidence submission: https://t.co/VRDbdwTe5y @DWPgovuk#NEET#MilburnReview#YouthEmployment
In May, we responded to the @educationgovuk SEND White Paper consultation, 'Every child achieving and thriving.' We welcome the ambition to fix a system often failing children. Read our blog for details: https://t.co/cKN8THaga1
Honoured to represent Catch22 at SEND reform roundtable hosted by Capacity. With @Georgia_Gould, @KimJohnsonMP, and @LpoolCityRegion to unpack the opportunities and challenges the current proposals present for families, schools and the local leaders working to implement them.
The longer someone is out of work, the harder it is to enter/return, so we’re proud to be selected by @DWPgovuk to run a #JobsGuarantee pilot in Birmingham + Solihull with Supplytrain CIC & @Sport4LifeUK, supporting young people on UC into sustainable jobs:https://t.co/zLZ49xfuV4
We look forward to continuing to work with government and partners to ensure this Plan delivers real change: protecting children, preventing harm, and building hope in the communities most affected. We’re drawing the line - because no child should be a victim of exploitation.
We welcome yesterday’s government announcement of the new ‘Protecting Lives, Building Hope’ plan to halve knife crime.
As a member of the Coalition to Tackle Knife Crime, Catch22 has supported the @ukhomeoffice by sharing frontline evidence and service-led insight.
We’ve published our full response on the importance of this cross-departmental plan, including what we welcome and what we believe is still missing: https://t.co/tBMT6vzpKc
As a proud member of the government’s Knife Crime Coalition, we know a coordinated approach is key for long-term and sustainable impact.

In delivering the national County Lines Support Service, we work alongside the government and the police to protect children and young people who are victims of violence, county lines, and exploitation.
New data from the @ukhomeoffice shows the incredible impact of the County Lines Programme and demonstrates the importance of collaborative approaches in the effective safeguarding of child victims.
Catch22 supported 125,000+ people last year: helping them find work, rebuild connections, break cycles of exploitation, and more.
Thank you to all those who have played a part in making this impact possible: https://t.co/Xqv0pzwp6N
Behind the mic with @Catch22’s Youth2Adulthood (Y2A) Mentoring Service in Newham 👊
We spent the day recording for National Prison Radio, speaking to young people about the reality of leaving custody, the support they’ve received, and the steps they’re taking to move forward 🚀

Today we were proud to host a joint visit to our Leicestershire @Victim1st service from @AlexDaviesJones , Minister for Victims and VAWG, and Claire Waxman @voice4victims, the Victims’ Commissioner for England and Wales.
The visit allowed the Minister and Victims’ Commissioner to hear from our practitioners and victims on proposed Victims’ Code changes.
Our team shared frontline insight on how the proposals may land and how they can better support victims day to day.
We’re ready to work together to turn insights into improvements grounded in the realities of victims’ lives.
We thank the Minister and Victims’ Commissioner for their active engagement to our team, and for their commitment to better outcomes for victims.
Catch22 welcomes the announcement made by @patmcfaddenmp that Gov is expanding the Youth Guarantee to 24-year-olds, a change we’ve long called for. Expanding apprenticeship units, including in the energy transition sector, will open vital routes to stable, future-proof jobs.
@Shell Close partnership between government, employers, education, and the third sector is required for the Youth Guarantee to succeed and increase young people’s life chances and social mobility.
