Today, I was able to play around with a new autocatcher for Jangmo-o Community Day.

I've been a prior user of the Duocatchmon and absolutely LOVED it. When I saw @CatchmonGo were releasing a direct upgrade of it with the Duomon 3 Pro, I was incredibly excited to give this bad boy a try.

🧵 Here are things I really loved about it

🔌 USB-C charging. The previous duo-catchmon ran on batteries, and this was clunky. I had to stop using it as the battery flap broke, and batteries could not stay still. This is a non issue now. Adapting to more current charging means, makes for a far more friendly experience. They even provide wireless charging with the Pro, if you are so inclined.

♻️ Auto-reconnect. Less time micromanaging the game and focusing on maintenance and more time actually playing. Definitely adding to more efficient, streamlined play with one less thing to worry about; Not needing to always see if you are still connected! I'm forgetful as all hell, so I was very grateful for this.

🏃‍♂️ The catch pace is IMPRESSIVE! Much faster than the Go++ or Gotcha! KEEP IN MIND IT ONLY CATCHES WITH REGULAR POKÉBALLS. So catch success is dependant on catch rate, which can of course be influenced with Kyurem. However, I was very happy with the numbers I was able to rack up.

💅 Design is sleek! I love my black monochrome and when that was a colour design, I knew I needed it. It's small and lightweight, fitting snugly in your pocket. At times feel like it wasn't there at all!!

Overall I absolutely had a fantastic time playing around with the Duomon 3 Pro, and I'm excited to continue seeing it do its stuff especially with GoFest around the corner.

Next time, my younger sister will join me as we test the two account compatibility together 👨‍👩‍👦‍👦

As a long-time user of devices like the original GoPlus and many third-party auto-catchers, this was my first hands-on experience with a Megacom product—and it’s clear this is a step up from the more basic devices I’ve used in the past.

Audio Alerts for Full Storage: A voice alert lets you know when your Pokémon or item bag is full. While helpful, it repeats frequently until resolved or muted. I'd love to see an option to customize or delay the frequency of these alerts—especially during raid days when item storage tends to fill up fast.

Dedicated Mobile App: The DuoMon 3 Pro connects to a phone-based app that lets you configure settings for each individual device. This allows for a more personalized experience across multiple units—something that’s rare in the auto-catcher world.

Auto-Connect: Smooth reconnections without needing to fiddle with your phone.

Compact Design: Small, lightweight, and vibration can be toggled off (a welcome contrast to the GO++).

🎯 Things to Keep in Mind:
No Great Ball/Ultra Ball Support: Like most third-party devices, it only uses regular Poké Balls. Only the official GO++ currently supports upgraded ball usage—so set your expectations accordingly.

The DuoMon 3 Pro is a reliable and well-designed device that’s ideal for hands-free catching and spinning. If you’re looking for an upgrade from older devices or want something that blends functionality with modern convenience, this is a solid pick—especially with the added control through its companion app.

Got to test out the Duomon3 Pro recently thanks to @CatchmonGo 🙌 Have used their products before & this model is impressive 🤯 Very fast catching & spinning. Rechargeable battery = smaller & lighter. The auto-reconnect feature is amazing. Pro version comes with extra goodies 🤩

We've been getting similar feedback from other Xiaomi phones users, and it looks like this might be an system issue with dual app settings. Even switching to DuoMon3 might have the same problem 🥲

We suggest clearing your phone Bluetooth record (unpairing) and then re-pairing to see if that helps.
