when I say ‘generic coffee shop aesthetic’, I’m referring to how they decided to move away from the “resort” direction the original game had in favor for this giant corporate outlet with the atmosphere of a starbucks
like why are we not playing volleyball on a beach??
it’s getting to a point where if feels like Nintendo is losing its original charm. fuck the sportsmates and fuck this generic wannabe coffeeshop aesthetic
@blackbroccolini@pejic839 exactly what I mean. In table tennis, the environment feels organic in a sense, as the table sits near a swimming pool surrounded by palmtrees, further establishing the resort feel, while switch sports decides to incorporate this generic coffee shop-looking mall complex
@pejic839 if you can’t fully see my vision regarding it, ultimately you’re never going to understand it in the end. this conversation will just go loop of disagreement and explanation one after the other rather than lead up to some sort of enlightenment
@pejic839 the identity here is subjective tbh, since it entirely depends on how you perceive both directions.
with wii sports resort, i see that it’s more vibrant and is a lot truer toward the “resort” title, whereas switch resort lacks that vibrance, especially in environment
@pejic839 Yet there’s a noticeable difference. what im getting at is the whole spocco square coffee shop aesthetic kinda cleanses away the original identity that was there before in wii sports resort
@pejic839 what i mean is that im not fond of the aesthetic deisgn they’re going for, especially for wuhu island. it looks bland and corporate when compared to the original
@_SamsungMob1le_@Molemanguy00@ABlueDude2 if phenomenal animation isn't utilized for anything, then what's the point? It hardly balances it out tbh. Sonic Prime is just mediocre
@phanisrealOMG@FellOffMyHead how does this retrospect regarding thrille's popularity and mj's other albums suddenly revoke the point he's making? it feels like you're just misreading the replies- the movie can infact be boiled down into 2 sentences
