Today marks the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC). From the Red Boat on Nanhu Lake in 1921 to the mighty ship steering Chinese modernization today, 105 years of trials and triumphs have seen the CPC steadfastly uphold its original mission: seeking happiness for the Chinese people and rejuvenation for the Chinese nation. Under the CPC leadership, China has achieved moderate prosperity in all respects, historically eradicated absolute poverty, become the world’s second-largest economy, and a pillar of stability amid global turbulence. In 2026—the opening year of the 15th Five-Year Plan and the 90th anniversary of the Red Army’s Long March victory—we will set out anew with unshakable commitment, advance Chinese modernization, and work with all nations to build a community with a shared future for humanity. Happy 105th birthday to the great CPC! May our motherland enjoy enduring prosperity and peace.

On June 17, China’s State Council Information Office released the white paper “More Just and Equitable Global Governance: China’s Principles, Proposals and Actions.”

Answering a question by Moiz Farooq @Moizfarooq01 from Daily Ittehad Media Group on how China will further advance the Global Governance Initiative (GGI) and translate its vision into concrete actions, Foreign Minister Wang Yi stressed that it requires cooperation among major countries, effective multilateral institutions & collective action by the international community. To advance this goal, China will focus on four key areas: reviving open regionalism, improving governance in emerging areas, strenthening global governance platforms, and building greater international consensus on global governance.

Chinese FM Wang Yi delivered a video address to the global thematic event on the occasion of the 2026 International Day for Dialogue Among Civilizations. He called on all sides to improve mutual understanding and trust through more dialogues, and build solidarity and consensus through more exchanges, which are the essential building blocks of a community with a shared future for humanity.

He also proposes a four-pronged approach to promoting dialogue among civilizations.
👉First, we should champion mutual respect and promote harmonious coexistence of civilizations. 
👉Second, we should champion putting the people first and cement the foundation of exchanges among civilizations. 
👉Third, we should champion both heritage and innovation to drive the progress of civilization.
👉Fourth, we should champion exchanges and mutual learning and improve mechanisms for dialogue among civilizations.

In a recent letter to Chinese President Xi Jinping, a group of Pakistani students studying at China’s Tianjin University made a heartfelt pledge to become builders of cooperation, promoters of exchanges, and guardians of friendship between the two countries.
President Xi said he was “truly heartened” to see the next generation carrying forward this friendship during his meeting with Pakistani PM Shehbaz Sharif at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing last week.

According to the China Manned Space Agency (CMSA), the launch of the Shenzhou-23 crewed spaceship was a complete success!
The spaceship successfully docked with the Tiangong space station early Monday morning, carrying three taikonauts into the space, including a female payload specialist from Hong Kong SAR.
Another proud milestone for China’s space program and the Tiangong space station! Wish the Shenzhou-23 crew a safe mission and great success in space!

President Xi Jinping met with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who is on an official visit to China.

President Xi said that no matter how the international landscape may evolve, China will always place priority on the development of China-Pakistan relations in its diplomacy with neighboring countries.

China firmly supports Pakistan in safeguarding its independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.

The two sides should accelerate the building of an even closer China-Pakistan community with a shared future in the new era, which will be a fine example for building a community with a shared future with neighboring countries.
