@Top100Rick Airport baggage handlers need to be quick and efficient at all airports. If I could check my bag and know that my wait at baggage claim wouldn’t be more than 10 min, it’s a no brainer. But waiting up to an hour motivates me to carry-on.

@jeremyct This has been going on with kids since the 90s. My husband’s daughters got theirs right away. His sons had to be dragged to get it. They expected their mom to drive them everywhere. (It was a phase. They all grew up to be fine upstanding, independent people.)

@DrunkRepub Besides teaching, their lives are just different. I grew up & worked in Chicago all my life when it was fabulous (even under the old Dem rule). The 30 yr olds today think Chicago is great w/boarded up stores, deserted office buildings, etc because they don’t know how gr8 it was.
