@Jolindley1906 Some people say ‘it’s not what strictly is about’ but they have always had trained/experienced dancers. Last year half the cast was trained/experienced but only Layton was attacked as a ‘professional dancer’, even though he was better known to most as a comic actor.

@Jolindley1906 Because Layton was black and gay, and although some people did attack him for those reasons, many people felt they couldn’t without looking homophobic and racist so they went for the ‘professional dancer’ line. Not everyone of course.
