🌍 Catheter Precision Celebrates First LockeT Use in Africa – Now in Namibia!
We’re thrilled to announce the first use of our LockeT suture retention device in Africa, performed at Lady Pohamba Hospital in Windhoek, Namibia by Dr. Mike Alison.
During an AF ablation procedure using Farapulse, Dr. Alison deployed LockeT alongside a 16.8Fr FaraDrive sheath. Despite the sheath’s size and no reversal of heparin with protamine, LockeT achieved overnight hemostasis with zero blood oozing—a remarkable outcome.
Dr. Alison shared:
“The device is very easy to use. I was impressed by the tight seal between the skin and disk. The counter traction pressure from the Z-suture and LockeT on the puncture site is a great way to achieve hemostasis.
🙏 Huge thanks to Dr. Mike Alison, George van der Merwe, and our regional partner HLC Medical for making this milestone possible.
📅 Fatih Ayoglu from Catheter Precision will be attending the South Africa Heart Congress in October, followed by site visits to support evaluation centers and expand our footprint across the region.

Catheter Precision recently launched the LockeT product line in Europe and the first procedures were completed in France at CHU Rennes. Thank you to the entire team for a successful few days and we cannot wait to return!
Successful completion of clinical cases with the LockeT suture retention device at CHU Rennes. The procedures were performed by Dr. Chloé Ziliox and the team led by Professor Raphael Martins.
🔧LockeT: Streamlining Closure, Enhancing Recovery
LockeT is a proprietary suture retention device designed to simplify and secure vascular closure following cardiac ablation procedures. Its intuitive design enables rapid deployment, consistent performance, and improved procedural efficiency.
📈 Improving Patient Outcomes in France
The introduction of LockeT into the French healthcare system offers several key benefits:
1.Reduced Hospital Stay: LockeT supports same day discharge, enabling earlier patient discharge and optimizing bed utilization.
2.Enhanced Comfort: The device minimizes tissue irritation and promotes stable wound healing, improving the overall patient experience.
3.Operational Efficiency: LockeT streamlines closure workflows, allowing clinicians to focus on high-value care delivery in busy cardiac centers.
First LockeT cases complete! Thank you to the entire team at @TriHealth Bethesda North Hospital over the last few weeks while you evaluated the LockeT Suture Retention Device. Special thanks to EP Director Dr. Gandhi, Dr. Shah, Dr. Winner and Dr. Canterbury for your assistance. We look forward to a continued partnership with you!
Exciting Milestone: First Successful LockeT Cases in Germany!
We’re thrilled to share that the first successful LockeT cases have been completed in Germany, marking a significant step forward in our journey. This achievement was made possible through our collaboration with the outstanding team at @zentral_klinik, led by @thegellergroup.
To date, the team has successfully performed 10 cases, using LockeT to close single or multiple punctures with just one device per case. These procedures have spanned sheath sizes from 6F to 17Fr, including PulseSelect and Farapulse cases—demonstrating LockeT’s versatility and reliability.
We extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Santi Raffa, Dr. Markus Frommhold, who is also the very first user of LockeT in Germany, and Dr. Obaida Alothman for their invaluable support and feedback. We look forward to many more success stories together as we continue to advance patient care!
200 cases complete with VIVO! Congratulations to the entire team at Heart Hospital of New Mexico in Albuquerque for being the first center to complete this exciting milestone. The team at Heart Hospital has been an incredible advocate of VIVO since its inception and the partnership we have created has been invaluable. They have helped us to establish clinical practices that improve accuracy and efficiency leading to streamlined workflows.

An 80-year-old female presented with a PVC burden of 20%. The ECG morphology looked very similar to the patient’s sinus rhythm and VIVO was used for additional analysis.
Manual interpretation of the ECG suggested an apical location. However, VIVO localized the location to the Para-Hisian region.
Contact mapping across the septum just below the outflow tracts localized the PVC to the Para-Hisian location, which was the same as VIVO, and the burden was reduced upon ablation in that location.
#EPeeps how are you tackling difficult-to-read ECG morphologies?

✅Non-invasive
✅Patient Specific
✅Precise Localization
A 75 year old man presents for a first time ablation with a narrow complex PVC and a burden of 20-50% with a Parahisian origin expected due to the patient’s sinus-like PVC morphology.
The PVC screening prior to ablation localized the patient’s PVC just adjacent to the His (demarcated by gold tags) on the left side of the septum. Localizing to the infero-posterior LVOT we were able to #burnandterm the PVC with RF therapy to non-inducibility, testing with iso and pacing to confirm that tachycardia was taken out entirely
#EPeeps how are you testing to confirm acute success and confirming you targeted the origin of the tachycardia?
#EPeeps #AblateVT
A 50-year-old female presented to the EP lab for a redo PVC ablation. The patient underwent a previous PVC ablation a few weeks prior and has been suffering from NSVT post-ablation.
VIVO localized the clinical PVC (PVCa) to the posterior, septal RVOT. Upon mapping, Dr. Anand received a PASO match of 98%. Following RF ablation, PVCa was terminated, but PVCb appeared as a slightly different exit site.
While mapping the LVOT for PVCb, the patient went into an episode of NSVT. VIVO localized PVCb and the VT slightly more posterior along the RVOT septum. Pace maps in the LVOT produced <90% matches therefore Dr. Anand placed a few lesions across the septum from the RVOT ablation and retracted back to the RVOT.
Dr. Anand mapped in the region localized by VIVO and received PASO matches of 93% for PVCb, but 98% match of the VT. Following additional RF in the RVOT, the VT was non-inducible.
Total Case Time: 3 hours 10 minutes
