When someone dies (including the animal kingdom), instead of saying they passed away, we should say their body died/passed away. Truly, their soul has not died. The body has died. The soul lives on. The essence of that person is not in the dead body but in the soul that lives on.
Knowing yourself doesn’t mean every criticism fits. It just means you’ll try it on anyway. The defensive person never gets that far! They’ve already decided you’re wrong even before you’ve finished the sentence.
Most people whisper their opinions softly even if they feel strongly about something. It’s as if they’re too afraid to even own an opinion. And the minute you start editing yourself to stop from offending someone and you’re more concerned about keeping the peace, you’ve already lost. Standing for something you believe in may cost you. Some people will walk away, some will try to push back but at least no one will be confused about who you are and what you stand for. Being liked by people who dont really know you or what you stand for is not worth very much at all.

As the therapist, I am responsible for being my client's best facilitator. As the client, you are responsible for keeping an open and curious mind ready to learn all the new teachings you have come to me to receive.
This means being willing to explore challenging emotions, beliefs and behaviours that may arise during the therapeutic process.
Ultimately, the therapist-client relationship is collaborative where both parties work together to achieve the client's goals and improve their overall mental health and well-being 💕💕💕
Most people are not just “good” or “bad.” They’re either self-aware or completely ruled by their refusal to look at themselves on a deeper level. I’ve seen loving people become the cruelest when their ego gets bruised and I’ve seen deeply wounded people make a conscious effort not to bleed all over everyone around them when they’re hurt. We all carry anger, jealousy, pride, fear, resentment, control, tenderness, compassion… all of it exists together whether people admit it or not. It’s whether you can master your emotions and manage them or allow your emotions to control you that is the difference between growing and hitting the wall and stagnating.
What matters to me is not who sounds the wisest, softest or most “evolved.” I watch people when life stops flattering them. When they’re challenged, rejected, criticised, jealous, exposed or not getting what they want. That’s where they crack and you meet the real venom of the person underneath. Some people will sit with themselves honestly and take responsibility for the damage they cause. Others will spend years blaming partners, friends, family, childhood, society, spirituality, literally anything except themselves while leaving utter chaos and destruction everywhere they go.
And honestly, you feel the difference. Some people leave your nervous system calm even after difficult conversations. Others leave you exhausted, guilty, anxious and emotionally drained after ten minutes with them because their unresolved chaos leaks into everything and everyone around them. Words mean very little to me. Patterns tell me way more. So does energy. And so does behaviour when under pressure. People reveal themselves eventually anyway no matter how carefully they try to manage the “official” mask that they put on when in public.

Conscious people talking to conscious people while the rest scroll past. The ones meant to hear it, hear it. The rest stay busy with the weather, gossip and whatever keeps them comfortably asleep 😃
The highest form of intelligence isn't logic, IQ, EQ, or logic—it's your ability to think about your own thinking. Think about it. “This isn’t some kind of mindset wacko wacko fluff.” Do you ever use this on yourself? 🧠🤔
What an extraordinary exchange. Senator Josh @HawleyMO asks a medical doctor if men can get pregnant.
She won’t answer the question but starts hemming and hawing about how “complex” it is and how Sen. Hawley is being divisive.
She’s a doctor!
When your beliefs become rigid they turn into habits that run on autopilot. Real intuitive guidance isn’t loud or dramatic, it’s subtle and flowing. It needs your presence and not your control. Rigidity keeps you walking the same loop and wondering why nothing ever changes.
