A 15-year-old Venezuelan teenager, Josué Benjamín Figueroa, has built a 6-meter (approx. 19.7 ft) statue of Saint Augustine made of fiberglass-reinforced resin with an internal metal structure.

The work was installed in Guacara, Carabobo state (Venezuela), and has gained international attention. The young sculptor, who has been creating sculptures since childhood, aims to achieve a world record with this project.

He says the sculpture is the fruit of discipline, faith, and dedication, and that he also relied on technical support from professionals for assembling the structure.
