As I mentioned, to construct our Tribute Chapel we are using "Master Builder" Buster and his wife Katie - seen here in this picture. They are an effective team!
Dear Friends,
We have news to share about staying connected, two seniors who will soon join us, and the progress of our Tribute Chapel.
Facebook is still working to resolve the problems caused by last month’s hack of our page. Until we can post there again, we will share updates on our Twitter (X) account:
https://t.co/STkVrFZzVI
We will also be creating new YouTube videos and posting links on X as they become available.
At the end of this month, we will welcome two 15-year-old cats whose caregiver recently passed away. Their home is being sold, and they need a safe place to spend their remaining years. Thanks to your continuing support, they will have that home here at Cats Cradle.
Meanwhile, it is exciting to watch our Tribute Chapel take shape. The framing and rafters are complete, the tongue-and-groove ceiling is finished, and plywood sheathing and protective roofing felt are in place.
This week, we are building the Chapel’s formal entrance. Next comes the steeple, which must be in place before the finished roofing can be installed.
Note: You can look into the progress of the Chapel by viewing our 24/7 cameras at:

Your generosity has provided enough funding to complete the exterior, including the entrance and steeple. We still need to raise additional funds to complete:
• The interior walls, floor, and ceiling, including finishing and painting.
• The creation and installation of five stained-glass windows featuring cat portraits.
• A 3-foot-by-30-foot concrete porch.
• Electrical work and fixtures.
Note: Although we have the materials needed to complete the roof and exterior, we still need to cover the cost of labor.
The Tribute Chapel will be a sacred place where people can honor beloved cats—a place to carry the love we have for the cats we have lost.
So many of you have believed in this vision and supported it generously. Terry and I are committed to seeing it through.
If you would like to help us complete the Chapel, please visit our original Facebook page, “catscradlefoundation,” and click the Donate button. It remains active, and we receive confirmation of each donation.
Thank you to all our Guardian Angels, and to everyone who helps make Cats Cradle a place of safety, peace, and love.
With gratitude,
Bruce and Terry

@mackmack@synthwavedd my opinion - let China move ahead and ruin their country, economy and society. Are we really doing all this in the name of "Progress"?
We are finding that our rescues are so much happier now that we have opened up all the areas to them. It is fun to see them interact with cats they never had a chance to meet before.
(4) the rain has dampened my ambitions somewhat so I haven't been able to produce any "shows". Since I am a bit shy and know nothing about cooking, I've been thinking about adding a co-host to our "Cooking with Cats" show. however, it may discourge the cats from participating.
(2) we are workinmg diligently on the Tribute Chapel. we finished the framing and were able to cover 1/2 of the roof today with T and G plywood and felt. We hope to finish the other half tomorrow.
wow! at lot is happening here at Cats Cradle. (1) we accepted 3 more seniors last month. you may see them either in cat town or in the lobby. their names are Trouble, Felix and Oscar. They spent a couple of weeks in the lobby room to become familiar with the surrounding and us.
