@NeonLDDelirium @kemsdreaming it's due to patterns and history of behaviour that can be documented throughout your life. you go through many changes, a lot of surface level behaviours do cover symptoms, but it's about it being prolonged. which is why it's complex and generally should be diagnosed at 18+

@astralagooon @kemsdreaming people have an idea of what something is before getting a diagnosis in the first place. diagnosis is a privilege at the end of the day, but you shouldn't substitute self diagnosis for a professional one. id advise seeing someone when it presents itself tho. best wishes 💖 (2/2)

@astralagooon @kemsdreaming hi there! I actually have bpd. I think it's totally valid to self diagnose if you have a good grasp of the disorder, as kems has already said research is very important. it's not wrong to notice you have symptoms and want to label it. (1/2)

it depends on the relationships you all have together. If it's a polycule where everyone dates each other or it's someone that just dates a few. also depends on the reasons why you break up and if others have boundaries there etc
