Douglas Santos on this list plays for Zenit St. Petersburg.
He’s 32.
He played in Spain and Italy. Udinese and Granada. Does that ring a bell?
He’s been with the Zenit for the last seven years, and spent three years in Germany before then.
Overall, he’s spent 13 years of his career in Europe.
In October 2024, he became a Russian citizen after changing his nationality. In March 2025, he officially switched his football allegiance to Russia and got called up for their friendly against Zambia.
During the same period, Brazil called him for qualifying games against Colombia and Argentina.
He couldn’t play because he had switched his sports citizenship to Russia after Brazil snubbed him for almost 10 years. He played for Brazil for the first time around 2015 or 2016.
In August 2025, he switched back his citizenship to Brazilian and got invited again for qualification matches against Chile and Bolivia.
Douglas Santos is going to the World Cup at 32, and may be Brazil’s starting left full-back.
Destiny.
Not voted for @Plaid_Cymru before but tomorrow they get my vote.
Why?
Because I still love the country I was born in and have chosen to still call home.
I genuinely hope they care about Wales as much as they say they do. And that real change can happen.
Let’s do this. ❤️ 🏴
Tomorrow, I will be voting @Plaid_Cymru .
For the first time ever.
For those who know me well, it's a big step.
I feel @Plaid_Cymru align with my core beliefs & offer hope for the people of Cymru.
Remember to vote tomorrow
Polls open at 7am till 10pm
You don't need voter ID
Tomorrow, you have the chance to seize new leadership for our nation
Credible, compassionate and ambitious leadership with Plaid Cymru and a deep sense of service to Wales - not to London bosses
Vote for a Plaid Cymru government and First Minister focused on Wales' future 🏴
If Reform win next week they’ll end Sport Wales’ £2.1M fund helping clubs cut energy costs and help the environment by funding solar panels etc.
Clubs in Caernarfon alone have had £35k from it. Tax cuts for the rich on the back of grassroots sport clubs.

Serious question. Not baiting, I want a serious answer. Why would anyone in Wales vote for a party that wants God Save The King to be played at ALL Welsh sporting events and the Welsh Anthem to be sung in English.
Tomorrow. @NewportCounty 🆚 @HarrogateTown. Latest relegation 6 pointer. New matchday superstition of a 10k cycle (resulted in a HUGE 1-0 win against @shrewsburytown recently) must be completed in the morning 🤞
Also @NCAFCThoughts / @seanmills6 got beef? Why am I blocked mate?
