@_Yayger@marceelias It takes four Justices to say yes for SCOTUS to take a case, but five must agree on how to decide the case. So you can safely assume that only four intend something, but still not know what that is.
Saw in the NYT today this little correction, and couldn’t stop hearing in my head the theoretical physics nerd who must have contacted them saying, “Um, ACTUALLY it’s called a CHARM quark…”
@mc_frontalot I couldn’t help but notice the optimistic slogan, “Something for everyone”! … Well, maybe for everyone who goes into a place named Nerdcore.
@DreamSystemBand Whoever is running this ad campaign made a brilliant choice going with this awesome @DreamSystemBand piece! That decision is all the more inspired because they didn’t go with the obvious choice of just picking an #IU song.
@forrestdrums@jonathancoulton Wow, I’m seriously honored! Thanks for the kind words. From a collaborator of Kit Watkins, too! You made my year.
I concede on the 80’s moniker. I was trying to explain extended remixes but mine fails the 80’s label (I was there too) based on the absence of gated reverb alone!
@DavidCornDC Fun fact: If this had been a criminal trial, Raskin could not comment on defendant Trump’s failure to testify (5th Amendment right, can’t be used to imply guilt). Immediate mistrial or reversal on appeal, and is prosecutorial misconduct. But he can do it all day long here!
@Victor_Lucas@BrettWeissCHVG Wish I could subscribe multiple times, Vic! We need everyone to know the great work you’re doing (and have been doing for ages).
So this just happened on CNN during an ad break. Wait, is #Fracture a good thing or a bad thing? (Are there even ad planners at #CNN who think about sequencing, or is the process all automated?)
@LaurenWitzkeDE You need to remove “US Senate Candidate, DE” from your Twitter profile already. Delaware certified it’s election results and you lost. So you and the soon-to-be-ex-president have that in common. https://t.co/AwRDXMNEgR
@DavidCornDC Their statement is classic lawyer-telling-client-why-loss-is-really-a-win. “No, really Donald, it’s good. Because now we get to appeal so we have a better venue where we can ask again,” <ignores that winning now would’ve achieved desired outcome now> “so, we good, Donald?”
@JennaEllisEsq@RudyGiuliani@TeamTrump For nonlawyers: federal Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit is the place these failures can next go to appeal. 3rdCir MUST take case (if Ellis & Co. don’t screw up filing). Then SCOTUS is next & last but it DOESN’T have to, and likely WON’T, take this case bc it’s so unworthy.
Best use of VR ever? a VRChat user recreated the Four Seasons Total Landscaping store in Philly that Rudy Giulliani and the Trump Campaign mistakenly booked for a post-election press conference thinking it was the hotel. Now the President concede his lawn! https://t.co/H3RMa5JkxF
