Today, we faced off against our rivals Miami High in our home gym. Our Cavaliers had a wonderful performance and once again won 3-0 with amazing sets and spikes and great defense being played at the net. That tallies another win against our rivals!

This afternoon, our Lady Cavs faced Coral Park at home. From the very beginning, they gave it their all and left every ounce of energy on the field, earning an incredible 15-0 victory. We couldn’t be more proud of this team!

Gables Track & Field commenced their season at Southridge High School, competing against more than 20 schools. Cavaliers had spectacular performances like Veronica Trueba who achieved first place in javelin.#whygables

Today during 5th period, DeArmas’ class played the board game Risk, a strategy game where players take control of territories, build armies, and try to conquer other regions. The students split into two tables, each taking on the roles of different countries competing for power.

Yesterday, our Lady Cavaliers went on the road to Miami Southridge High. In a hard-fought battle, our girls won the game with an impressive score of 7-3 showing off their resilience and Cavalier spirit. #whygables

Today CavsConnect held their annual Thanksgiving potluck filled with sweet and savory dishes, warm conversations, and plenty of laughter. From celebrating our Staff birthdays of the Month to sharing a fun time with friends, the afternoon was a reminder of how grateful we are.

Today in room 2109, the Gables Wellness Club hosted a yoga class led by Ms. Kiely. The class welcomed all levels of yoga, from beginners to advanced, and everyone who participated had a great time. Between gentle movement and meditation, the atmosphere was calm. #whygables

Today, our Gables Boys Soccer team faced off against Gulliver prep. Gables played with amazing pace and even opened scoring with an early goal from Aliksandros Adams. However, although the game ended with a score of 2-1, we stay proud of our Cavs. #whygables

Today was the second day of the Out of State college tour, where the class of 2027 visited University of Georgia and Clemson University. Students officially traveled to South Carolina! Tomorrow they will be visiting Wake Forest in North Carolina.#whygables

Today, the class of 2027 traveled to Atlanta, Georgia for the first day of the Out of State college tour! Students visited Emory University and Georgia Tech, where students walked throughout the campuses and bought merchandise from each university. #whygables
