So pleased to finally announce I am the winner of The Base ‘My Wild Life’ photography competition.
It was great to see my image up in the gallery.
Thank you to everyone who voted and helped me secure 1st prize for the adult category.
The iconic bluebells at Westbere Lakes.
Bluebells spend most of the year underground and only flower between mid April to late May.
I couldn't miss capturing this amazing annual woodland spectacle 🌳🎥

This poor seal was attacked by a dog near Teddington thankfully some brave passers by managed to get it off before it killed it. One of rescuers needed stitches, the seal is now at wildlife rescue centre. The owner of dog walked off, please report to police if you know them
The loss of priority habitat at #SwanscombePeninsula due to the development of the #LondonResort would be equivalent to losing our entire #OareMarshes nature reserve!

The first time I have seen a Woodcock in my garden.
Storm Darcy has forced Woodcock to ground early whilst moving West from Scandinavia.
Many have been reported in people gardens or dead along the coast due to the poor weather.
