1AF Auxiliary Chaplains keep the faith, forging a new alliance w/Airmen in CA. The program & partnership, in development for a year, allows active/reserve/civilian Airmen to access spiritual support in person, through virtual tele-ministry, and even using immersive VR technology.

1AF's AF Rescue Coordination Center in 2020 responded to 10,849 incidents, 762 of which required they go to mission, saving 349 lives. The team works with interagency partners & AF Auxiliary volunteers 24 hours/day, 365 days/year responding to missing persons & distress calls.

Pilots from the Coast Guard & our 1AF USAF Aux, Civil Air Patrol will conduct the routine live-flight air defense exercise Falcon Virgo over the National Capitol Region Thursday. This NORAD CONUS Region-directed event supports Operation Noble Eagle, and is a recurring exercise.
