Female abduction / murder is extremely rare. Yes we should all be vigilant when out alone. But this level of fear-mongering isn’t healthy. And men’s mental health is an issue as well. Calling all men out as dangerous is bad for our sons, brothers, partners.

I don’t know a single woman who hasn’t been catcalled, or touched inappropriately at a bar or in a club, who hasn’t had Inappropriate sexual remarks made about them- by men who think they DESERVE u or that you want to be spoken to because of how you look or how you’re dressed.

I feel like the men arguing against the stat of “97% of women” are arguing because they think sexual harassment is as explicit as rape. They don’t see wolf whistling, or even groping in bars as sexual harassment. Because if they did, they’d see that they’re also a perpetrator
