If the country can't even give me healthcare and stop actively shitting on my trans friends, I feel like it shouldnt be able to terrify my fucking dog for it's stupid birthday y'know?
Its not about Digital Vs Physical, Its about the option to choose and actually owning what you purchase.
Removing the options, removes protection and freedom for all consumers of ANY kind of media. Not just gamers on one platform, but people who collect films, music, games, and media of any kind. It monopolizes on one front and destroys several others in the process. It completely destroys the resale market. It destroys collecting, it even limits game/movie preservation in the long run because EVENTUALLY, they can keep reselling you the same game/movie at full price, forever. It removes any protection that you have as a consumer moving forward, period.
Would you ever buy a stock or invest in a company if they could just take it back from you at any second?
No, because that would be insane.
a company generally cannot just wake up and say “lol were taking your shares back” because they feel like it.
So why the hell would you let them take the media you pay for? Playstation need to address this shit immediately. We are not going to let it go.
A digital only future with shit like this around is bleak. Not only will you not own anything, but Sony can raise prices on a whim and you won’t even have the option to get used games or even borrow games from people anymore. This is strictly anti-consumer from every angle.
actually ☝️ it is valid for venezuelans to point out people who were loud as fuck the moment maduro got into that nike tracksuit and have been completely silent for almost a week after the earthquake. it is indifference, hipocrisy and dehumanization
GNB officials (military) take away the belongings from the rubble of what used to be the homes of victims of the earthquake. while venezuelans are doing the best they can to survive and look for their missing loved ones, these rats steal from the people
and i hope videos like these, the videos of them stealing resources for the victims, of them stopping trucks with humanitarian supplies from reaching those affected show the world that venezuelans are being actively killed by the regime
saw a video about how the movie Coraline effectively uses cool and warm colours per scene, and one of the top comments was "do directors actually think about this when they make a movie?"
How does a lonely penguin or rejected monkey break the internet, while a starving baby in Gaza barely gets noticed? No child deserves to starve or be killed.
