Digital ID - an idea I'm vehemently opposed to, but what if I choose not to own a smartphone? What about my friend with MS who can't operate one? My disabled neighbour? The pensioners who use a large button dumb phone? This is a horrible idea from a horrible government. FRO.

We’ve seen Prodrive’s engineering excellence captured in @LEGO_Group before, There's an official set including the Aston Martin Vantage GT3 and fan-created versions of the Prodrive Hunter.

But now, LEGO creator Tomáš Letenay, aka TOMOELL, has recreated Colin McRae’s Subaru Impreza from the 1997 Monte Carlo Rally in stunning detail, and it’s up on the @LEGOIdeas platform, hoping to become an official set. 🙌

We love the fact that the build includes details like the fully modelled roll cage, bucket seats with harness, spare wheel, and its distinctive boxer engine. It even has a removable light pod for night stages! Not limited to the car itself, the proposed set includes a jack, stands, and a mechanic’s tool cabinet.
