Excellent news with the return of https://t.co/pcgW5pl0U6 support group. Friendly, informative and necessary here in the North East๐
Next meeting is at the RVI hospital 10am till 12noon.

@Martin965786031 Some courses are ran particularly for suffers often called Information Days. I think Menieres Society run one and I've run them in the past at Newcastle with NE1Dizxy support group. The speakers have to know their audience and who they are addressing so its helpful.
My brain is buzzing with information gathered from this course. Outstanding!!!
100% recommend you attend this when it's next run Vestibular professionals.
I've met some great like minded folk and feel inspired by the speakers who were friendly and approachable.
@PbrownNeuro@ArcherGail With sound sensitivity acclimatisation is key and often rehabilitation involves limited exposure and building tolerance. Putting plugs in the ears can introduce more problems but knowing they are available and using them within prescribed treatment with prof. support could be OK.
@Hearing_balance Sending best wishes.
I've been told the cough and headaches can continue. I'm now negative on testing but still feel rough at 2 weeks. I agree, avoid if at all possible and everyone still wear a mask with any close contact appointments!!!
@ArcherGail Still unwell. More like heavy cold now rather than flu but still testing positive on lateral flow. Tuesday on old rules for release. I'm hoping I bounce back quickly now. I'm suprised I'm still rough though.
My family still negative which is good. Rob is 17 tomorrow though ๐.
