🎓🐛 Today we celebrated Preschool Graduation! Our students sang, acted out The Very Hungry Caterpillar, showed off adorable costumes, and proudly led Family Gathering after waiting all year. Congrats to our rising Kindergarteners! 💛👏
Congratulations to CBA’s 9th graduating class! 🎓 On Friday, we welcomed 20 new alums. Some began with us in Kindergarten, and others joined along the way—each one adding to the personality, skill, and success of this class. We can’t wait to hear what’s next for these graduates.
🐟 Ms. Ogle’s 1st graders released the trout they raised in class into the Little River in Townsend! What a great hands-on way to learn about life cycles, ecosystems, and stewardship. Thank you, Trout Unlimited! ⛰️
🚀 5th grade launched rockets today! After learning about the 1960s space race and gravity, students worked in teams to name, design, and paint their rockets. The Lower School gathered on the playground and field to cheer on the launches! 🌎
🎓 Today was our Senior Walk! Seniors walked back through CBA's cottages, reflecting on their education journey. Along the way, students filled the campus with posters, cheers, and celebration! 👏
🐝 Preschoolers explored the 🌿 Knoxville Botanical Garden with special adults by their side! From pollinators and plants to muddy play, watering flowers, and story time, it was a beautiful morning. 🌼

🐣🥚 Preschool students kicked off their studies on birds and life cycles by getting up close with some amusing chickens and passing around real eggs in class! Students loved watching the birds eat, especially when they fed them worms. Big curiosity starts with little moments.🪱

Students toured the airport parking garage under construction at TYS—meeting engineers and leaders, and watching crews make it happen. Real work, real problems, real careers. This is how imagination grows. 🔧💡
🎻🎶 CBA middle school musicians made their mark at Festivals in the Park at Six Flags Over Georgia this weekend! Blazer Beat Chorus earned 2nd place with a Superior rating, while middle school strings brought home 1st place with an Excellent rating 🏆👏

4th-grade scientists explored animal structures today! 🐢🐍 With visitors from Ijams Nature Center, students met a box turtle and corn snake up close—touching a turtle shell and snakeskin while discovering how animal structures help them survive. What a great day of learning! 🌿
Sometimes a CBA student is on a roll—and senior Jude Clark-Heinrich is having that moment. 🎨🎸 His guitar was selected for the Dogwood Arts show, he earned a full-ride to SCAD Summer Seminars, and he’s in Texas for USA Climbing nationals! 🧗♂️🚀 Way to go, Jude!
Middle school teams earned Honorable Mention in the Toshiba Exploravision Competition, placing in the top 10% in North America! 🌎 Students researched real technology, imagined future solutions, and presented bold ideas. Real problems. Real innovation. 💡👏
Congratulations to our STEM Fair winners—and every Lower School student who participated! 🧪🔧 Students asked big questions, tested ideas, and shared their discoveries. Experiences like this build curiosity, problem-solving skills, and confidence in presenting their thinking. 👏
Our 8th graders rocked their genetics project presentations! 🧬 Teams acted like medical detectives—studying family history, symptoms, and test results to diagnose genetic disorders. They used Punnett squares and pedigrees and shared hopeful ways patients can live well. 👏
