Last night we proudly celebrated the Brotherhood Battle Alumni Class Giving Challenge Champions - the incredible Class of 2023 - at the Falcon’s Nest!
They set the bar high last September with a 25% participation rate and took home the very first title. We loved getting the chance to recognize them and thank them for their support.
And a huge THANK YOU to our hosts, Mark Lierman ’87 and Paul LaVigne (parent of Jeff ’04, Danny ’16, and Tommy ’22), for making this event possible and giving us the perfect place to celebrate 2023's big win.
The strength of our CBC network was also there! We’re grateful for the support of:
Rich Muth ’88
Art Potter ’88
Scott Millikan ’87
Board member Mike Golinvaux (parent of Jack ’17, Thomas ’18, and Sam ’21)
This is what the Brotherhood is all about—tradition, CBC pride, connection, lifelong friendships, and support.
And we’re just getting started… mark your calendars! The next Battle returns October 5–9. What class will rise to the challenge next?
Another great moment this morning when Scott Brown, our Assistant Director of Athletics and longtime head baseball coach, found out he was being inducted into the Christian Brothers College High School Hall of Fame Class of 2026 as an honorary alumnus.
He was informed of the news from Brad Stone '03, our Director of Alumni Relations and one of his former players.
Congratulations to Mr. Brown.

Exciting work @CBCHighSchool as we continue to work to create Men for Tomorrow. I presented the work of our Humanities Team at the Annual AP Conference last summer and wrote an article for Norton Publishing this past school year. Check it out: https://t.co/Hh9ejQgG1c
The CBC baseball team came up short in the Missouri Class 6 championship game on Saturday afternoon, losing 10-5 to Blue Springs South at Ozark Mountain Sports Complex in Ozark.
The Cadets have now finished second in 2013 and 2026 in addition to winning championships in 2010 and 2015.
Thank you to your seniors and their families for everything they have contributed to the program, our school, and our community over the past few years.
