Why are we even talking about disarming Hamas?
The first priority should be to disarm Israel, the perpetrator of genocide and countless other crimes against humanity.

Dahlia Kurtz is boasting about getting a young Black woman fired from Burger King for saying “free Palestine”. It’s a damning comment on our politics that the same Zionist fanatic has the influence & financial backing to charge & sue me & Roger Waters.
Over the weekend Kurtz began a campaign to have Ariana Hamilton fired for saying “free Palestine” to an Israeli emissary for “Jewish Akron”, Ohio, at a Burger King. Kurtz posted, “Hi @BurgerKing! Rami Feinstein was just ordering food for his family. One of your employees, Ariana, asks him where he’s from. He says Israel. She responds, ‘Free Palestine.’ So, Burger King, are you safe for Jews? Because Ariana harassing Jews doesn’t give that vibe.”
Over the next forty-eight hours Kurtz tweeted repeatedly at Burger King. Posting a letter from the company saying, “Please know that we are reviewing the matter internally”, Kurtz notes, “I received a response from @BurgerKing’s franchise group. Less PR speak. More real-world consequences. Where’s the beef, Burger King? The public is watching. P.S. Take note, Free Palestine whiners, BK explicitly says the views expressed by Ariana DO NOT reflect theirs.”
After the 20ish looking Hamilton was fired, Kurtz posted at least four times boasting about it. Getting a young Black woman in Pennsylvania fired to enable a genocide in Gaza — while claiming to be the victim — is evidence of a pathological desire to defend Israel and its supporters no matter what. Yet corporations, law makers and police act on Kurtz behalf.
Incredibly, this Zionist influencer convinced the police to charge me for responding to her X posts and is suing Roger Waters and I for defamation.
Rather than simply blocking me on Twitter, two years ago Kurtz went to the police accusing me of harassment for responding to her posts on X. I spent five days in jail in February 2025 in a (successful) bid to fight an odious bail condition restricting my right to discuss Kurtz’ charge against me. Subsequently, the charge that I “harassed” Kurtz was abandoned.
(The Crown, however, maintained charges that I intimidated, harassed and interfered with the Montreal police investigator for promoting an email petition calling on the police to drop the subsequently abandoned Kurtz charges. Incredibly, a judge found me guilty of these charges but my appeal has been accepted for a case that now includes both the Quebec and Federal attorney generals as we are arguing the interpretation of the law violates Canada’s Charter of Rights and Freedoms.)
Immediately after the criminal charges were dropped against me for allegedly harassing her Kurtz turned to the civil court. She’s seeking $400,000 from me and half that amount from Roger Waters who publicly defended me when I was imprisoned for refusing to accept the muzzling conditions over the initial Kurtz charges. She also filed a complaint with the Barreau du Québec against my criminal counsel and a complaint to the Senate ethics commission against Senator Yuen Pau Woo for publicly supporting me online.
One wonders who funds Kurtz legal efforts. With two major law firms doing the work, the defamation suit alone could well cost tens or hundreds of thousand dollars. Her main lawyer, Neil Oberman, has instigated a litany of pro-Israel legal battles against those who oppose genocide.
My and Waters’ lawyer 500-page rebuttal to Kurtz’ defamation claims is powerful. The document crafted by Geneviève Grey offers compelling evidence that Kurtz’ isn’t a victim. Instead, it demonstrates her:
• “Blatant racism against Muslims and disparaging remarks towards pro-Palestinian activists, including wild exaggerations and distortions.”
• “Disparaging remarks towards Palestinians living in Gaza or in the West Bank, including towards young children.”
• “Calling for people to be fired, arrested, disciplined, deported, or otherwise face retribution because of their support for Palestine.”
• “Doxing people, providing personally identifiable information such as addresses and places of employment, for their support of Palestine, including young children.”
A countersuit also calls on the court to have Kurtz pay me $50,000 in damages for the time I was imprisoned largely at her behest.
If there’s any justice the original defamation suit will be dismissed and Kurtz will have to compensate me for my time in jail (covered by one of her wealthy donors no doubt). In the case of Kurtz’s campaign against Arianna Hamilton, the intended financial penalty to a low paid worker has been turned on its head. A “Support Arianna After Job Loss for Free Speech” Go Fund Me campaign has received 4000 donations totalling $135,000 US.
Clearly many people have responded with solidarity. But we need an even broader campaign to prevent the abuse of our legal and governmental systems by genocidal Jewish supremacists who care only for a tiny minority of humanity.
The shameless liar @markjcarney allowed the child-murderer Netanyahu to pass through Canadian airspace three times while the Israeli war criminal was under ICC indictment. Carney has helped to undermine the ICC.

Around 18 months into his detention, Palestinian doctor @HussamAbuSafiya continues to face torture and ill-treatment in Israeli prisons.
Since the start of the genocide in the #Gaza Strip, Israeli forces have killed around 1,700 healthcare workers and detained hundreds more.
