@RickinCanadia I asked @BogochIsaac about this a few weeks ago. You are correct in thinking the valve compromises the effectiveness of the mask. (Makes sense, really, doesn't it?) I've also asked about the possible buildup of CO2 in masks if worn for long periods of time. It's a non-issue. -MF
