Tributes paid to couple who died at a waterfall walk in the Brecon Beacons. Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team @CBMRT, who assisted the multi-agency search for the missing couple, said: "Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with families and friends."

UPDATE | We can confirm that officers searching for two women who are believed to have entered the water in the Ystradfellte area on Wednesday (4 January) sadly recovered a second body from the river in the Glynneath area on Sunday.

56 years ago today our team members responded to assist the rescue/recovery at Aberfan.
As in previous years this morning we think of and pray for all those involved and affected, with team members once again being in attendance at this morning’s remembrance service.
