In this episode, I sit down with Ben from @altradyapp to talk about the journey from clueless beginner to consistent trader, and why automation has changed everything for me. We met in person at Consensus in Toronto last year, and this conversation picks up where those discussions left off - covering bot trading, trading psychology, and where AI is taking all of this next.

We get into how I started in crypto at the November 2017 top without even knowing what a trading pair was, how QuickFingers Luc and the Crypto Base Scanner shaped both our approaches, and why DCA bots and signal automation opened my eyes to building an account whether you're at the screen or not. Ben breaks down Altrady's grid picks and the new TA scanner, and we dig into why a slower, dependable bot beats an aggressive one every time. We also talk honestly about the painful lessons - round-tripping profits, blown scalping sessions, and learning to use your emotions as a mirror instead of giving in to them. The big theme throughout: this isn't a get-rich-quick simulator, it's about building wealth over time and stacking Bitcoin patiently.

Toward the end we cover how I'm using OpenClaw and AI as a complementary co-pilot for trade setups, why AI won't flatten the markets (if anything it'll add volatility and liquidity), and Ben teases some AI integration coming to Altrady.
