🚨 CARIBBEAN INTERDICTION SUCCESS🚨

In a rapid multinational operation, @jiatfs, @CBP ✈️, and Dominican Republic partners 🇩🇴 intercepted a Go-Fast vessel 🚤 attempting to move illicit cargo.

The joint effort disrupted a major Transnational Criminal Organization (TCO) smuggling route, resulting in: 🛑
•2,124 LBS of marijuana seized 🌿
•13.6 KG of cocaine seized ❄️
•2 smugglers detained ⚖️

On July 2, Brownsville Marine Unit agents responded to intelligence about a possible smuggling attempt involving a commercial vessel. During inspection, agents discovered an individual concealed in the engine room. After further investigation, it was determined the individual was unlawfully present in the United States and was turned over to U.S. Border Patrol for removal proceedings. #BorderSecurity #MissionSuccess

COKE LOAD! On July 3, during patrol in the narcotic source and transit zone, a P-3 Long Range Tracker detected two go-fast vessels off the west coast of Mexico. Working with our Mexican partners, authorities intercepted both vessels, seizing over 6,000 lbs. of cocaine and apprehending four individuals. This successful operation highlights the strength of international collaboration in combating narcotics trafficking.  #DrugInterdiction

On July 6, Marine Interdiction Agents from the San Juan Marine Unit (SJMU) responded to two elderly kayakers in distress in San Juan Bay. High winds pushed the individuals into a dangerous area, prompting them to signal for help. SJMU agents quickly intervened, safely recovering both kayakers and transporting them to shore for medical evaluation. Thanks to the swift actions of our crew, both individuals were found to be in stable condition with no injuries.
