UPDATE: CROSS-BORDER TRAVEL TO MALAWI
South African authorities, including the C-BRTA, SAPS and JMPD, are currently at the Malawi Consulate in Sandton, where seven buses carrying Malawian nationals arrived as part of ongoing transport arrangements to Malawi.

Not all officers are corrupt
An undocumented foreign national was arrested by the National Traffic Police at the N1 Baobab Toll Plaza near Musina after allegedly crossing the border without the required legal documentation. During the arrest, the suspect reportedly attempted to bribe the officers on duty
The message is clear: Do not break the law and expect money to get you out of trouble
Acting Director Aphane commended the officers for upholding their oath of office, maintaining their integrity, and honouring the badge they wear. Their actions demonstrate that professionalism, honesty, and accountability remain at the heart of law enforcement
