Today, on the National Day of Mourning, we take a moment to reflect and remember workers who have been injured, lost their lives, or became ill as a result of their work.

Our flags are flying at half mast to honour their memory.

With mild temperatures and significant rain in the forecast for this week, please be conscious of changing ice conditions. Always check ice thickness prior to venturing out! @TownofCBS

Did you know the colour of ice may indicate its strength?

🔵 Clear blue ice is strongest.
⚪ White opaque or snow ice is half as strong as blue ice.
