Congrats to our 1st Year Soccer Team who were crowned the Midlands League Division 1 Champions on Wednesday. They played Colàiste Mhuire Clane in a closely contested match and after extra-time, Naas CBS won 4-2. Best of luck in the Leinster Champions Leagu Cup after Easter.
Well done to our Junior Rugby Team who won the 1C division league on Wednesday. Players braced the harsh conditions in Mullingar to claim triumph over a very strong St. Pats. Navan side. Final score: 33 - 17. Thanks to Conor Brophy & Mick Cahill (Naas RFC) for coaching the boys.
Congrats to our Junior Maths Team who won the Regional Pi Maths Competition. They were clear winners on the day, beating the 29 other teams to get through to the national finals. 3rd Years representing Naas CBS: Rory Comerford, Tom Horan, Seán Keightley, Conall White. Well done!
The U/14 Hurling Team took park in the Rice Cup Hurling Blitz yesterday in Hawkfield. They played against teams from Tipperary, Waterford and Dublin. Well done to all involved!
Hard luck to our U/19 Div. 1 Boys Team who were beaten yesterday in the All-Ireland Finals. The lads have put in so much effort this year and had unbelievable accomplishments winning two Leinster titles in a row. Well done to all!

Thanks to Man Booker Longlisted Irish writer Colin Barrett who engaged L.C. English students in a Q&A session this week. Students had the opportunity to ask about the day to day practice of a writer and got advice on tackling the short story option on the L.C. English paper.

Our 6th Year Ag. Science students took part in the Agri Aware Walk & Talk event at Kildalton Agricultural College and found it to be a valuable experience. Thanks to Agri Aware & the staff at Kildalton Agricultural College for hosting such a well-organised & educational event.
Congratulations to our Meitheal Leaders who graduated from the Meitheal Programme in Carlow on 6th March. Thanks to these 6th Year leaders for the activities they organised for 1st Years and the support they offered their younger peers to help them settle into secondary school.
Congrats to our Senior Maths Team who won the regional competition today. It came down to a tie breaker and they beat Newbridge College to get through to the national finals next month. The 6th Years representing Naas CBS are: Evan Cogan, Oisin Leane, Derec Mooney, Shane Codd.
TY students attended a talk by local engineering firm Clandillon Civil Consulting this week. The talk introduced engineering as a possible career option for students to consider in the future and outlined the wide range of disciplines and opportunities within the sector.
Some of our 6th Years travelled to Irish Rail’s Training Centre in Inchicore this week. They got hands on experience completing tasks like changing car tyres, using various tools & equipment & wiring connections to fuses. They learned about the various apprenticeships available.
