this was a beautiful moment for two reasons !!!!

1. got to celebrate jeffrey headlining at Coachella- who is the kindest and most talented- and a collaboration that brought so much joy to my life
2. in these particular moments singing “half of my heart is in Havana” feels so poignant and bittersweet… my heart truly goes out to every single Cuban who feels their heart ache for a beautiful country and culture that has been drained and abused for so many years of an oppressive dictatorship. but the beauty about our people is our ability to persevere and  be proud of where we come from and have the hope better days are ahead . 🇨🇺🌺💌 #soscuba

doing: making music, filming, writing personal essays, drinking decaf
thinking about: music!!!!!! , how saying yes to as many experiences as possible is the best way to mine for material as a writer, how Halloween is actually the best silliest holiday ever created we need like 10 more of those, how my grandma’s smell of perfume and cigarettes instantly takes me back to childhood
