That a sitting president would not let any renovations to a public building go on unless he gets to first put his name in the said building… What a sad state of affairs. What a tragedy. Actually, how small minded, how narcissistic. Actually
great men, devoted to public service and the public good do not act like this.

It seems that this man will not rest until his name is permanently connected to the name of a great president, whose memory this building was dedicated to. Imagine spending your time and your days focused on this, as everyday Americans struggle with healthcare, gas prices, rent, and food. Imagine spending your days focused on this, while a war rages under your leadership.

Fans are what make college football happen. They can be dramatic at times, but they are the lifeblood. Every coach and CFB journalist has a job only because of them. Their diehard spirits go beyond the 12-16 games their favorite team plays in a given year. The transfer portal window needs to be adjusted because right now I would assume a fourth of the Power 4 fanbases, maybe more, are on the ledge. Only outgoing, no incoming until Jan. 2. Short sighted thinking on their decision to shift the winter portal window the way they did. You are literally only creating a negative experience for fans while basically requiring college football programs to tamper in the portal recruiting process.
