Senior Spotlight - Joely Virzi Track
One of the strongest sprinters in school history Joely finished 7th in the 200 & 2nd in 4x200 at State. The 2019 Cincinnati D3 Runner of the Year also played on State Champ. soccer team. She will be playing soccer & running track @ Middlebury.

Senior Spotlight - Abby Smith Track
Abby is a very strong distance runner who is hard working and goes above & beyond regular workouts. She has a terrific attitude and is a wonderful teammate who is always supportive. Abby ran Cross Country in the fall. @TonyJaccaci @CountryDay

Senior Spotlight - Lawson Renie Track
Lawson is a pure sprinter with natural ability. She qualified for state in the 400 & was a member of the 4x200 State Runner-Up relay. Lawson was State Player of the Year & All-American in soccer. She also played basketball. @TonyJaccaci

Senior Spotlight - Anushka Nair Track
Anushka had a stellar career in sprints, relays, 300H. She has incredible running form & is strong out of the blocks. The first leg of the MVC & CCDS record breaking 4x100 & 4x200 that was State Runner-Up. She also played golf. @TonyJaccaci

Senior Spotlight - Alex Arnold Track
Alex is a middle-distance runner for the CCDS Indians. He has a tremendous work ethic and a wonderful attitude. Alex was also a 4yr member of the boys golf team. @CountryDay @TonyJaccaci

Senior Spotlight - Jack Flynn Track
Jack is a distance runner for the CCDS Indians. He is always willing to run in any event where the team needs him. Jack is a great teammate who leads by example and has a wonderful attitude that is infectious. @CountryDay @TonyJaccaci

Senior Spotlight - Bryan Gan Track & Field
Bryan throws the shot put & discus for CCDS and has shown some incredible promise his first season. His physical skills & athleticism made him one of the top throwers. Bryan was also a member of the basketball team. @TonyJaccaci

Senior Spotlight Ethan Glosby Track
Ethan is a sprinter running the 100, 200, 400. He has shown incredible growth in 4yrs & has steadily improved. He was a Regional qualifier last year. A true student of the sport! Ethan also played soccer in the fall. @CountryDay @TonyJaccaci

Senior Spotlight - Will Horton Track
Will is a high hurdler who is a tireless worker always focused on building his form & technique. Last year he placed at MVC & Districts. He has a wonderful personality & is always positive. Will also played football.

Senior Spotlight - David Morales Track
David is a distance runner for the CCDS Indians. As the captain of the distance runners he has a great attitude & strong work ethic. Last year he was a Regional qualifier in two events. He also ran Cross Country. @CountryDay @TonyJaccaci

Senior Spotlight - Will Sommer Track
Will runs both the 110 & 300 Hurdles. He has worked extremely hard since freshman yr & has developed into one of the top hurdlers in the MVC. Last year he was MVC Runner-up in the 110. Will also ran Cross Country.

Senior Spotlight - Katie Ashwell Track & Field
Katie is a 12 season athlete - Soccer, Gymnastics, Track & Field, Cheer. She is a long jumper with a very fluid take off. A 3 time Regional Qualifier she was a finalist last year. A true student of the sport! @TonyJaccaci @CountryDay

Senior Spotlight - Natalie de Beer Track
Natalie is a distance runner always willing to help the team in any event. A key member of last years District Champ. she finished 6th @ Regionals in the 3200. A 2 time state qualifier in Cross Country she also played soccer. @TonyJaccaci

Senior Spotlight - Elena Hamall Track
Elena competed in shot & discus, high jump & long jump, and hurdles. A 2019 District Finalists she is a great teammate & always willing to do anything to help the team. She also participated in gymnastics & cheer. @TonyJaccaci @CountryDay

To honor the Class of 2020 the CCDS Athletic Dept. along with other schools around Ohio will turn on their stadium lights and scoreboards tonight at 8:20 (20:20 military time) and run the clock for 20 minutes & 20 seconds. #Classof2020 @CountryDay @TonyJaccaci @CoachDCoyle
