🚨 Coventry City are reportedly weighing up a move for Southampton defender Taylor Harwood-Bellis as Frank Lampard looks to strengthen his squad ahead of the club’s Premier League return.

The link is particularly interesting given the history between the pair. During Coventry’s trip to Southampton earlier this season, Harwood-Bellis and Lampard were involved in a heated on-pitch exchange that caught the attention of supporters.

Despite that moment, the Sky Blues are understood to be exploring a number of defensive targets this summer, with Harwood-Bellis among the names being discussed.

The 23-year-old is highly rated and brings both Championship and Premier League experience, qualities Coventry are looking to add as they prepare for life back in the top flight.

A deal is far from certain at this stage, but it is a situation worth monitoring as the summer transfer window develops.
