We are encouraging Cork City fans to boycott purchasing all club related products until Dermot Usher steps down.
This includes merchandise, season tickets and regular match tickets.
Let’s embarrass the owners more than they have embarrassed the fan base.
Empty Turners Cross
@gaffer1888@billy_dorney@CraigOSul1@conchurdebarra What on earth are you talking about? The new board did not have a pot to piss in? How on earth would they have played a part? And there have been lots of investors queuing up, it seems the ridiculous valuation is turning all of them off right now.
@gaffer1888@billy_dorney@CraigOSul1@conchurdebarra What do you mean? The 5 years of the new board was spent trying to keep the club afloat. The club never recovered from the 2015-2018 mismanagement. The new board worked day and night for 5 years just to keep the club alive.
@gaffer1888@billy_dorney@CraigOSul1@conchurdebarra Due diligence was done. Usher is a reputable, wealthy, respected businessman. Not one person could have envisaged his lies. Almost all promises made prior to his acquisition have not been fulfilled. We were lied to.
@gaffer1888@billy_dorney@CraigOSul1@conchurdebarra FORAS membership almost unanimously voted for the sale of the club as projections showed it was likely the club would have gone part time or potentially out of business due to mismanagement of FORAS board members 5 years previously.
Different people and groups seem to want to do different things for the game Friday night.
We’re putting this up to see what the majority think. Regardless, we think there should be a peaceful protest with chants/banners outside the ground, after that what do you think?
