An Unusual Scene to Avoid Clashes with Police
Citizens lead police through the rotation to keep the protest peaceful, after earlier confrontations
South Korean protesters demanding a new election have entered their second day blockading a vote-counting center.
After friction with police at polling stations, distrust toward officers had been growing among the crowd.
To prevent further clashes, citizens at the counting center came up with their own approach.
When police rotate out, citizens lead them to the exit. When the next team comes in, they can only enter with citizen approval.
The self-organization goes beyond managing police.
Volunteers direct traffic on congested roads nearby.
Others prepare and distribute food and water to fellow protesters.
An unusual scene: it's citizens, not police, doing the leading.
Korean citizens are taking matters into their own hands, all in the name of liberal democracy.

[ELECTION CHAOS]
Ballot shortages hit 50 polling stations across South Korea. Voting stopped at 22.
On June 3, South Korea held local elections.
Across the country, polling stations ran out of ballots.
Polling stations that needed extra ballots sent: 67
Polling stations that actually ran short: 50
Polling stations where voting temporarily stopped: 22
Here's where it happened:
Seoul: 35 locations (15 in Songpa district alone)
Busan: 8
Daegu: 7
Incheon: 6
South Gyeongsang: 8
Ulsan: 3
The heads of the National Election Commission resigned.
An independent investigation committee will conduct a full audit of voting records.
South Korean citizens were outraged. They demanded a halt to the vote count and called it election fraud.
The National Election Commission pressed ahead anyway, without giving the public a clear explanation.
Something went very wrong at the foundation of democracy.

❗️The Donetsk highway is under Ukrainian fire control!
Right now, the Ukrainian military has FPV drones that can fly into the enemy's rear more than 50 kilometers deep.
Here's my first drive on Tesla FSD V14.3.1. It feels polished vs 14.3 and it my opinion is ready for wide release.
• With 14.3.1, you can now tap on the new "P" parking icon and bring up your different parking options
• Mad Max mode on the highway feels slightly more conservative with top speed (favors low 80s more often), but will now get to the right lanes sooner to prepare for exiting the highway. In this first drive, Mad Max did not go above 83mph, despite no cars around me most of the time. Follow distance is also more comfortable. I like all these things.
• I'm having zero brake stabbing issues on 14.3.1, whereas I had a couple on my first drive with 14.3
• Urban lane selection is better vs 14.3
• Navigation routes and occasional parking alignment still need some work, but that's not a reason to hold back wide release.
It still surprises me how much quicker V14.3 reacts to things. If a car pulls out of a parking spot as you drive by, FSD hits the brakes before you even know what's going on. The 20% better reaction time is definitely noticeable.
FSD v14.3.1 did an exceptional job with parking at Costco now.
It found the absolute first spot open, picked it quickly, and backed in perfectly.
Solid!
🇧🇪 Positive news for FSD Supervised in Belgium!
I just received an official response from the cabinet of @MDiependaele , Minister-President of the Flemish Government.
A few days ago, the Dutch vehicle authority RDW granted the first type approval for Tesla FSD Supervised. In my message to the Flemish government, I urged them to actively support and accelerate the recognition and implementation of this RDW approval in Flanders/Belgium, so Tesla owners and all road users can benefit from this safer, more advanced driver assistance system as soon as possible.
Here's the reply I received:
Dear Sir,
Your message was well received and read with interest. It shows your involvement in our society. Minister-President Diependaele thanks you for your insights and for the initiative you are taking.
Others whom you contacted are better placed to answer you substantively, yet we are reviewing your message internally. We will contact you if additional clarification is needed.
With kind regards,
Advisor Local Policy
Cabinet of Matthias Diependaele
Minister-President of the Flemish Government
Flemish Minister of Economy, Innovation and Industry, Foreign Affairs, Digitalization and Facility Management
This is encouraging, they explicitly thanked me for the input and confirm they're reviewing it internally at the highest level. A small but positive step toward bringing FSD Supervised to Flemish roads faster!
I will continue to follow up and keep you updated on any further developments!
