Tonight the SSI has the pleasure of attending @378ATC awards evening. A number of our cadets do both CCF in school and ATC within the town. The cadets achieved a number of qualifications and awards and we are extremely proud of their achievements @HeartofHatton

Today cadets took part in the competition, before deploying for their fieldcraft exercise for 24 hours. Cadets are starting to get tired with a few taking the opportunity to close their eyes between activities. #Tired #determination #Resilience

Tuesday cadets completed some PD activities including a range of high rope tasks and learning about survival skills. Today we were on the ranges and although it has been wet the cadets have been in great spirits and S/SGT Tufa got the coin for best shot. #dedication #Resistance

Busy few days so far on camp, yesterday revisiting prior skills and learning new things in the field and today activities included archery,PT, command tasks, drill, paintball and fieldgun training. Cadets are starting to get tired but having a great time. @HeartofHatton #teamwork

A busy end to volunteers week for our cadets and volunteers. Yesterday 18 cadets went to the ranges in Thetford in preparation for summer camp. Today a number of cadets took part in the Royal Anglian Freedom parade in Kettering alongside approximately 1000 cadets @HeartofHatton

Busy couple of weeks for our contingent. Last week saw one of our volunteers attend the pilot drill course @CTCFrimleyPark and then this weekend a handful of our cdts attended a Skill at Arms weekend with @LNRACF. Thank you both for your hospitality, knowledge and skills.

Today we welcomed some potential year 8 cadets. CAPT Clayton gave a short presentation to show them what they could get up once they became a cadet and then had a walk around to see our older cadets running various stands including fieldcraft, drill and shooting.

This weekend 22 CDTs from @HeartofHatton attended a SAA weekend in Cambridge alongside cadets from @lodgeparkacad @CulfordSchool @TDAeducation @qkapeterborough what a great way to start half-term with cadets demonstrating key values and learning something new @CadetsinSchoools

This evening I had the pleasure of attending Wboro @aircadets Mannock Sqn annual awards evening. @378ATC has 4 Cadets who also attend the Schools CCF & received an outstanding achievement trophy. It was great to celebrate their hard work, dedication & achievements @HeartofHatton
