🇺🇸 SCOTT BESSENT JUST POSTED THIS:
Dear Senator Elizabeth Warren:
I have received your October 7 letter, which adds to the mounting body of evidence of your complete paucity of knowledge about financial markets. Rather than take my suggestion of studying introductory economics, you have continued your letter-writing crusade and participation in tabloid fodder about the Treasury Department.
Unfortunately, it is difficult to treat your concerns as sincere. As the federal funds rate climbed from near zero to its highest level in 22 years, with inflation hitting a 40-year high, you were a cheerleader for the Biden Administration’s reckless spending. You blamed the economic consequences on the Federal Reserve, rather than your own irresponsible fiscal policies. Your view of the economy depends on who occupies the White House, but your woeful understanding of the issues is consistent.
The “interventions” you describe as “unprecedented” have been underway since May 2024. The buyback program has been well received by market participants in bolstering Treasury liquidity, which reduces market volatility, increases the convenience yield of Treasury securities and ensures the best value for the taxpayer. The continued enhancements optimize Treasury market liquidity in primary and secondary markets. The U.S. Treasury market’s liquidity and performance versus global peers is evidence.
While you voted for a $5 trillion tax hike on everyday Americans, the Working Families Tax Cuts continue to deliver for families and workers across the country. The average refund this filing season was over $3,400, an increase of 11 percent over the previous year. More than 30 million workers claimed No Tax on Overtime, more than 7 million claimed No Tax on Tips, and more than 37 million seniors claimed their enhanced deduction. More than 34 million families claimed the permanently enhanced Child Tax Credit, and millions of families are utilizing Trump Accounts to unlock a new savings vehicle for children. All of which you voted against.
These results are made possible by the employees of the Department of the Treasury, who are working around the clock for the American people. Unsurprisingly, you have responded by criticizing their dedication and aptitude for the job in a recent interview.¹ Despite your malign characterization, the Domestic Finance team you alluded to in your interview is fully staffed relative to historical levels. It is ironic that you have voted against every presidential appointee for a position at Treasury, no matter how impressive the qualifications for the role. Given your newfound interest in Department personnel, I challenge you to reverse course and thoughtfully engage with future nominees and support their confirmation.
Finally, my offer of a Foreign Exchange for Dummies tutorial still stands and if you receive a passing grade on the Yale metric, not the Harvard curve, I would be happy to also include a Fixed Income for Dummies.
Sincerely,
Scott Bessent
Then he finished with a handwritten note ✍️
Happy Indigenous Peoples’ Day in advance to you and your family.

🚨 BREAKING: Donald Trump has decided to withdraw the U.S. from UN-Habitat, UN Women, and 66 other organizations funded by American taxpayers.
He says the UN promotes invasions instead of stopping them, and America will no longer fund its own harm.
We should support Donald Trump
🚨BREAKING: In a major development, the U.S. Supreme Court has indicated it will invalidate state laws that allow ballots to be counted after Election Day.
Justice Alito pointed out that it's called “Election DAY” for a reason.
🚨BREAKING: Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent is reportedly gearing up to REVOKE the tax-exempt status of nonprofits including George Soros' Open Society Foundations, CAIR, and the Southern Poverty Law Center.
And it could come with massive CIVIL PENALTIES and back taxes.
For decades, these political operations have masqueraded as "charities" while living tax-free on the American dime.
- Open Society pushes open borders, funds radical prosecutors, and bankrolls NGOs that sue America for enforcing immigration law.
- SPLC slanders conservative and Christian groups as "hate groups" to get them deplatformed.
- CAIR has been cited by federal prosecutors as an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest terrorism financing trial in U.S. history.
And you, the taxpayer, have been subsidizing it.
According to the NY Post, Treasury and IRS are drawing up a sweeping audit under President Trump's 2025 executive order targeting nonprofits operating with a "substantial illegal purpose" — financing political violence and organized radical action.
Bessent's inner circle is drafting the blueprint to strip 501(c)(3) status, which would force them to pay the 21% corporate tax rate like every real business.
If taxed at 21% for 2024 alone:
- Soros network would owe $163.6 MILLION
- SPLC: $354,000
- 17 CAIR chapters: $860,000
- Combined total: ∼$165 MILLION in taxes they dodged
Treasury officials are "like a dog with a bone" on this, sources say. Many of these groups are "on borrowed time."
This was made possible by Trump's memorandum "Countering Domestic Terrorism and Organized Political Violence" that directs the IRS to ensure no tax-exempt entities are financing political violence.
Bessent put it bluntly: "We are examining where tax exempt status has been exploited, where charitable entities have become financial conduits for foreign influence... and have enabled violence."
The ultimate irony? Bessent used to be Soros' own chief investment officer. Now he's the man dismantling the Soros empire.
It's about time.
Quick election update: Is the Republican establishment actively working against Pres Donald Trump so they can blame him for any losses in the midterms? Is this how they try to crush the MAGA movement? Because they despise the people as much as their elitist colleagues on the left? It certainly looks that way.
🚨REPORT: WNBA officials are claiming A'Ja Wilson was not ejected and won't be suspended because she was in the "player escape lane" and not the stands.
This is a lie.
She walked about 20 feet up to the second row of the stands and got in a fan's face.
They are making up excuses in order to not enforce their own code of conduct.
