TALE OF TWO CHIEFS:
Travis Kelce chugged a beer at
Graduation encouraging the graduates to party and drink alcohol.
Harrison Butker encouraged graduates to get married and start a family.
Travis was praised by the media.
Harrison was ridiculed.
In a world of Travis Kelce's, be a Harrison Butker.

Just a reminder that the idea that two dads can replace a mom, or that two moms can replace a dad, is just as nonsensical as saying “trans women are women.” The identical illogic behind both is that men and women are arbitrary and interchangeable, that their biology tells us nothing important about how society should function
When my oldest was born, her oxygen levels were low and they told us they needed her to go to the NICU. I begged them to let me hold her first. They put her on my chest for several minutes, and when they tested her oxygen levels again, they were perfect. In her case, she didn’t need the NICU. She just needed her mom.
Babies need their mothers. It’s how humans are wired. The familiar comfort of her smell, voice, and touch is necessary for proper development from birth onward.
Children need their dad, too, but in different ways. Both moms and dads meet unique physiological, psychological and spiritual needs that help their kids survive and thrive. They’re not interchangeable in the same way men and women in general are not interchangeable.
This is why I can never, ever celebrate the purposeful creation of motherless or fatherless children via egg/sperm donation/ surrogacy. It completely disregards the well-being of children in favor of the desires of adults. Two men can be good dads, but they can never be a mom. Two women can be loving mothers, but they can never be a dad. The needs of children should always supersede adults’ wants.
Seen a lot of “I’m a former Christian...” talk lately. Don’t be confused. There is no such thing as a “former Christian”.
If you’ve been truly (emphasis on truly) saved by Jesus, and have the Holy Spirit... there is no undoing that.
(Jn 10, Rom. 8, Eph. 4:30, 1 Jn 2:19)
Well, yes, LGBTQ activists evangelize to you through every movie & TV show you watch and every new book you read, through school curriculum & via official state-sponsored messages. Why would they need to knock on your door? They’re already in your house.
The majority of professing Christians are Biblically illiterate. Ask them basic theological questions, and they can’t answer them correctly. They couldn’t tell you what the Bible has to say about some of the most pressing moral issues of our day. The Church simply does not have time for frivolous Toy Story-themed sermons that fail to explain Scripture and preach the gospel.
The main purpose of the church is to equip the saints for the work of ministry, not to make church services so distractingly entertaining that non-Christians will attend to see a free show. While outreach and evangelism matter, sensitivity to the seeker at the expense of Biblical exegesis is sinful and counterproductive.
Sermons can be dynamic. The music can be beautiful. The sanctuary can be aesthetically pleasing. Creativity can be used for the glory of God. But putting Christ in the background just to fill seats will never work.
His aroma is sweet enough. His gospel is powerful enough. His spirit is persuasive enough. The same cross that repelled the proud and compelled the humble 2,000 years ago still does so today.
“And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, *to mature manhood,* to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, so that *we may no longer be children,* tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. Rather, speaking Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to *grow up in every way* into him who is the head, into Christ,” Eph. 4:11-14
There are no true “LGBTQIA+ affirming churches”.
New Testament churches are called to affirm the need of a Lord and Savior for sinners. Jesus doesn’t celebrate sinners, He changes them.
The moment churches start affirming and celebrating sin, then it stops being a church.
You can worship Jesus, and still honor your country and those who serve it, too.
There has been a push in recent years that has become almost trendy - if you love Jesus or truly care about people, then must hate your country, roll your eyes at anyone with an American flag, and question those who sign up to serve in our military.
In fact, there is even pressure from some that if you say you love Jesus and your country, then you’re branded as a Christian Nationalist or you’re making an idol out of patriotism.
However, it doesn’t have be that way, because here are things that are still true:
1. We are called to love and worship Jesus above all. Anytime, culture contradicts our faith, we must obey God rather than men (Acts 5).
2. Loving Jesus doesn’t mean you have to hate your country. In fact, we’re told to pray for our leaders, obey the law, and honor those who are worth honoring (Rom 13).
3. America isn’t perfect. There are many things from the past that are nothing short of evil, and let’s be honest - things that still need to change. But, you don’t have to hate where you live, or be suspicious of those who want to see this country flourish.
4. We have freedom. As of 2023, Americans are some of the freest people in world. We choose where to live, where to worship, and who to vote for. We even have the freedom to disagree. Why? Because of men and women who served this country and made the ultimate sacrifice. They paid for your freedom with their life.
So, love Jesus, give honor where honor is due, be grateful for your freedom, and remember those who sacrificed all.

After partnering with a Satanist to promote genital mutilation, Target should be firmly on the no-go list for Christian women. We should also encourage fellow Christians, Chip & Jo Gaines, whose brand Magnolia is sold at Target, to make their stance clear. https://t.co/3Z9y016wAf
