International Migrants Day is celebrated today to highlight the contributions of migrants and to raise awareness of the challenges they face. It was established by the UN to recognize the positive impact migrants have on societies and to advocate for their rights and protections.

Students, today Roman Catholics celebrate the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. They believe that Mary was without sin from the the moment of conception.
Students, today is International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The day encourages action, learning, and optimism for a more inclusive world, through the promotion of the rights and wellbeing of people with disabilities. It was established by the UN in 1992.
01 December marks World Aids Day, a global call to action to unite in the fight against HIV, promote equal access to care and continue the work towards ending new infections by 2030.
We remember those lost to the epidemic and show solidarity with people living with HIV.
Students, our Culture Day will be taking place on Tues 25 Nov, 12:00-14:00, in the CCN Sports Hall.
There'll be food, music and dancing at the event, and all of our students are welcome!

Rosh Hashanah is the Jewish New Year festival and begins the ten days of repentance before Yom Kippur. This year, Rosh Hashanah starts this evening (22nd) and ends Wednesday 24th September.
