It’s a busy Monday in CCSD schools! Teachers are in professional development sessions across the county, immersing themselves in our new ELA and math instructional materials. School Nutrition teams are meeting for in-service training. Schools are putting all the final touches on buildings and grounds to get ready for Friday! Superintendent Mary Elizabeth Davis stopped by Woodstock High School to thank the front office staff for their hard work getting ready for the new school year, the next phase of our mission to become the highest performing school district in Georgia! Ahoy! It’s National School Lunch Week, and Superintendent of Schools Mary Elizabeth Davis set sail today for Knox ES STEM Academy to celebrate its cafeteria crew for its savvy service. This week’s theme is “School Lunch Pirates … Find Your Treasure!” and the Knox lunchroom is decked out with a pirate ship among its festive decor.
