CCSI attended the Women Deliver 2026 Conference in Melbourne, Australia. A global movement where over 6,000 delegates and global voices from different nations and diverse cultures converged in a powerful motion to accelerate global development forward, by amplifying women’s voices, dismantling barriers, and driving accountability.

Conversations highlighted the urgency of placing women and girls at the center of decision-making, advancing access to health and rights, tackling the intersections of gender with climate and economic justice, and empowering youth leadership to boldly shape the future.

The conference was a space for honest reflection. Stories were shared creating opportunities for collective learning and knowledge exchange. A recurring theme was the importance of strategic partnerships in driving meaningful and lasting impact.

From saving lives to scaling impact: the African Centre of Excellence for Population Health and Policy @acephap_buk led consortium, working alongside Pathfinder International @PathfinderInt , the Medical Women’s Association of Nigeria @MwanNigeria , and the Centre for Communication and Social Impact, brought countries together at the Regional Think Tank in Kenya to share what works in preventing and managing postpartum haemorrhage, strengthen systems, and accelerate progress in maternal health across Africa.

Every woman deserves a safe childbirth, wherever she lives.
