Those victims are adults. When they were children, the people in charge let them down, and that is awful. BUT at some point we have to focus on the children that are in need of help NOW. This has to be the focus, otherwise we have learned nothing. We should all be encouraging this not downplaying it because we’re mad about something that happened decades ago.

I need everyone to remember that we are in a spiritual war right now.

In every spiritual battle, distractions are sent to pull our attention away from the mission. Division, drama, outrage, confusion, personal attacks, and endless distractions are all tools used to keep us focused on everything except what truly matters.

Don’t lose sight of the assignment.

The focus is, and has always been, Save The Children.

While we’re arguing over headlines, politics, personalities, and social media drama, children are still suffering. Children are still being abused, aborted, neglected, trafficked, exploited, abandoned, and failed by the very systems designed to protect them.

The enemy doesn’t always attack head-on. Sometimes the attack comes through distraction. Sometimes it comes through division. Sometimes it comes through exhaustion. The goal is simple: keep us so busy fighting each other that we stop fighting for the children.

Stay focused.

Stay vigilant.

Stay prayerful.

Don’t allow temporary distractions to make you forget the greater purpose. The mission is bigger than any individual, any organization, any political party, or any controversy.

The children need advocates.
The children need protectors.
The children need warriors.

And that mission doesn’t change because the noise gets louder.

Save The Children. Always.
