Today in the US we celebrate 250 years of freedom and praise the Lord for His blessings on our nation.
Do you recognize that, no matter where you’re from or what you’ve done, you can experience eternal freedom in the work of Jesus Christ, the Son of God?
The truth we need is already here—right in God's Word. No new angles, no secret knowledge, just the complete, life-giving gospel that saves and transforms us.

God's ancient blessing isn't just religious words—it's His promise to provide, His presence with you, and His peace for your soul. When life feels uncertain, remember: His face shines upon you. Through Jesus, this blessing is your reality today.

We may think of peace as simply ‘the absence of war.’ But the Hebrew word for peace—shalom—carries the idea of well-being and salvation. It is this peace that God proclaimed over Israel via the high priest and it is this peace that God proclaims over you today in Jesus Christ.
True peace comes when we cease worrying and embrace God’s blessing, knowing that we can entrust our lives to a God who promises to provide and to be with us.

In Luke 9, the disciples bring 5 loaves and 2 fish to Jesus, and he uses them to feed a crowd of 5000 men, with plenty left over. God loves to take anything we bring to Him and use it for our blessing and His glory. He blesses in abundance and nothing goes to waste.
Any committed athlete knows that he must often say ‘no’ to something—junk food, staying up late, sleeping in, etc.—to become excellent at what he has committed his life to. In the same way, Christian, you must say no to your selfish desires in order to become more like Christ.
God is always at work, even when we feel stagnant and forgotten.
Perhaps you feel like your wheels are spinning. Ask yourself, “How might God be using this season to make me more like Jesus?”

When Pharaoh summons Joseph, Joseph has the perfect opportunity to turn the attention to himself and present his own case of injustice to Pharaoh.
Instead, he points Pharaoh to the God of Heaven.

Americans hate to wait. We hate waiting more than 5 minutes for "fast" food; more than a day for a package; and—for Christians—more than a week for God to answer a prayer.
But do you recognize that, in the waiting, God is actively working to mold you into the image of His Son?
Joseph was in prison for a crime he didn’t commit, after being sold as a slave by his own brothers. He had every reason to be self-centered and miserable, yet when he noticed the downcast faces of his fellow prisoners, he showed compassion to them.

Perhaps you’re in a situation like Joseph: betrayed, unfairly accused, and paying for the consequences of someone else’s actions. But—like Joseph—keep your eyes on the God of Heaven and honor Him in all situations, not just the easy ones. He will work on your behalf.
Culture is not neutral. Christians ought to be well-informed on how social movements intersect with the Judeo-Christian worldview.

Judah and Tamar's story is a mess of broken promises, deceit, and immorality. But it is through their lineage that God chose to bring Jesus Christ into this world.
Perhaps your life is a wreck. Bring it to the Lord! He loves to redeem messy things for our good and His glory.
From the beginning, the Bible makes it clear that God loves to bring order out of chaos and life out of nothing.
Do you trust Him to do the same with your chaos and brokenness?

No matter what chaos exists in your life right now, no matter what failures haunt you, God says: "Behold, I make all things new" (Rev 21:5).
Your mess is not too big for His mercy. Your story is not too broken for His redemption.

When injustice strikes and confusion clouds your path, remember: this isn't your final chapter. The Lord is working through your suffering for His glory and your good. Keep your eyes on Him. Trust Him in the darkness. He sees you, He loves you, and He will bring you through.
Our Youth Ministry aims to foster spiritual growth and God-honoring relationships among our Youth students (6th - 12th grade) through Bible study and fellowship. This Sunday is the LAST day to register for next month’s Youth Camp!
Sin, injustice, corruption, and evil should anger anyone wanting to become more like Christ. But we cannot allow that anger to lead us to sin.
So what does this "righteous anger" look like?
