@TheFP You could relocate to Chicago and spend years covering corruption and misspent money. Minnesota and California are just the tip of the iceberg. Now look into what campaigns these made up nonprofits are donating to and I bet it'll lead to it's biggest supporters.
Taxpayers and billionaire philanthropists have spent around $1 billion on “violence interrupter” programs in Chicago over the past decade.
The backers include some of the biggest names in politics and business, like Laurene Powell Jobs, the widow of Steve Jobs, and Governor J.B. Pritzker.
There’s just a few problems—@Olivia_Reingold found more than two dozen instances of violence interrupters getting arrested, including a murder charge.
@Rep_Stansbury Rep. Stansbury's claim is incorrect. Presidents have broad Article II authority to order limited ops like this raid on Maduro—no prior congressional approval needed.Precedent: 43/45 presidents acted without war declarations. See 1989 Panama invasion (captured Noriega).
@SenMarkKelly His criticism of Trump’s tax cuts favoring the rich is misleading; while the TCJA and 2025 extensions disproportionately benefited higher incomes, middle-class Americans also saw some relief, though less significantly. #FactCheck#HealthCare#TaxPolicy
@SenMarkKelly We can fact check in seconds now senator: Senator Mark Kelly's claim that he voted against a funding bill due to skyrocketing health care costs is partially true, as costs are rising (8% trend in 2025), but his vote targeted ACA subsidy expirations not included in the bill.
An 18-year-old who went on a carjacking and robbery spree last night won’t be doing it again.
His fourth victim of the evening, a concealed carry holder, shot him dead in Humboldt Park.

@RaymondALopez You know that most of the city council and the mayor are all for this. No different than when Lori was for it and let the city burn. It's all part of their agenda. The city is left to fend for itself since the leadership is no different than that of California.
This morning a daughter woke up without her mother.
A mother, without her daughter.
36 Year Old Krystal Rivera left home yesterday, just another day in her job as a Chicago Police Officer.
And she will never come back through those doors.
Officer Rivera, like so many others, has made the ultimate sacrifice for the residents of Chicago. A sacrifice they risk making EVERY TIME they leave the house.
I hope we as Chicagoans remember that, and internalize it.
Officer Krystal Rivera, you will never be forgotten.
@RaymondALopez Brandon is most likely part of the socialist party. Like most other democrats flying under the Democratic party. Real democrats should do right by ousting socialists from their party. It's what's degraded the Democratic party.
