In the wake of the tragedy in #ColoradoSprings, CDCE condemns all hate crimes, and grieves and stands in solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community. We strive to teach and urge educators to include diverse narratives, and take actions to build an inclusive and just society.
We got invited again by @nyuniversity Project Developing Chinese Language Teachers (DCLT) to offer an online workshop on "Fostering an Inclusive Chinese Language Classroom" with curriculum sharing and breakout room facilitating. 在“和而不同”的中文课堂里,见自己、见天地、见众生。
It's the 2nd year working with @Middlebury Chinese Graduate Program and offering DEI training for their faculty and students. We discussed inclusive curriculum and what being a Chinese means in this critical time. Contact us if you'd like a similar workshop at your institution!
